Football is Back: 2011 NFL Season Starts Tonight!
After a long and arduous lockout — one that left many a fan and many a fantasy team owner worrying about how they would be spending their Sundays over the coming few months — football is finally back. Preseason play is over and now it’s time to get down to business.
The 2011 season kicks off tonight at Lambeau Field as the Green Bay Packers take on the New Orleans Saints. It’s a battle of the two most recent championship teams, and barring any leftover preseason/lockout dust, it should prove to be a dynamic start to the 2011 campaign.
Week 1 is full of great match-ups: We’ll see the Steelers take on the Ravens in Baltimore, the Jets will battle the Cowboys at home and the Dolphins will take on the Patriots in Miami. It’s going to be a great opening week for any fan. (Click here for the entire 2011 Regular Season Schedule.)
